BLINN SBDC TO HOST BASIC QUICKBOOKS COURSE DEC. 3
The Blinn College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will offer a basic QuickBooks course for small business owners next month.
The course will be held Friday, December 3rd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the A.W. Hodde, Jr. Technical Education Center in Brenham.
The workshop is designed to give participants hands-on experience with QuickBooks’ desktop version. Attendees will be provided reference materials and a desktop computer to use during the course.
Topics include setting up records, invoices, deposits and checks, accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card account reconciliation, and running reports. The course does not cover the online version of QuickBooks.
Certified Public Accountant and QuickBooks advisor Julie Gilmer will teach the class.
Registration is $100 per person. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. The session includes a one-hour lunch break.
