THE CORNER SHOPPE HOSTING BLOCK PARTY, HALF-OFF SALE

  

The Corner Shoppe in Burton invites families to a free block party this weekend.

The block party at the shop, located at 601 North Main Street, will be held on Saturday starting at noon.  Free hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages will be served while supplies last.

The block party is courtesy of Brazos Valley Recycling and Allison Crowson.

The shop is currently running a Storewide Half Off sale through Saturday.  The sale includes fall-themed items, Christmas décor, and hospitality items like casseroles, coffee pots, table collectibles and servers.  The store is open Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but will be closed next weekend for Thanksgiving.

Proceeds from the store help underwrite the organization’s programs and ministries, and will also assist in relocating the shop to the former site of Bethany Christian Church in January 2022.
