BURTON READY FOR FALLS CITY
PANTHERS LOOK TO BRING HOME A REGIONAL TITLE
Only 8 teams are left in the Texas 2A Division II High School Football Playoffs and one of them is the Burton Panthers.
Burton has navigated all the way to a Regional Final matchup against the Falls City Beavers on Friday in Seguin. Burton took out District 14 champion Christoval in the Bi-District round in thrilling fashion winning 30 to 29. They have followed that up with dominant wins over Bruni and district rival Granger.
Now they turn their attention to Falls City, who comes into the game at 12 and 1, and Burton Head Coach Jason Hodde says the Panthers will need to stick to their assignments defensively to come away with a win.
