The WoodmenLife Group donated 40 Texas and U.S. flags to be used throughout Brenham at many facilities and entrances to the city.

Facilities where flags are displayed include the Brenham Fire and Police Departments, Brenham City Hall, Henderson Park, Hohlt Park, Linda Anderson Park, the Simon Theatre, the Highway 290/cloverleaf area, the Reese Lockett statue, the Blue Bell Aquatic Center and the Boys and Girls Club.

Russell Kohring of WoodmenLife Group said the local chapter “appreciates the patriotic efforts” of the city in maintaining and flying U.S. and Texas flags, and is “proud to partner with them in replacing some of those.”

The city said it appreciates WoodmenLife Group partnering with it to use and display the flags throughout the year.
