SPEEDING VEHICLE LEADS TO ARREST OF TWO

Stopping a speeding vehicle led to the arrest of two people on drug charges Wednesday.

Early Wednesday morning, at 1:20 AM, Ofc. Armando Guerra effected a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Highway 105 on a vehicle for Speeding.  Ofc. Guerra detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle and conducted a probable cause search.  During the search he located approximately 70 “tabs” of suspected MDMA / Ecstasy as well a marijuana.  Roesha Paldo, 23 of Washington, was taken into custody for Possession of Controlled Substance and Xavian Lacy, 27 of Somerville, for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 Oz.
