FREE COMMUNITY JOB BOARD LAUNCHES FOR WASHINGTON CO.

  

Business and job seekers in Washington County have a new online resource to use in their search.

Brenham – Washington County Economic Development has launched a free community job board at https://washcotxjobs.com.

Brenham Economic Development Director Susan Cates said this recruitment tool will be used to help local businesses “cast a wider net in accessing the top-notch employees needed in Washington County.”

Anyone searching for a job can visit the website and choose the category of work they are seeking.  Categories include food service, agriculture, construction and trades, transportation and logistics, information technology and retail.

Businesses wanting to list open positions can request a login at https://washcotxjobs.com/request-account.  An invitation will be sent and once completed, the business can set up additional users within their organization.  Each user is responsible for listing and removing positions once filled.

Beginning in January 2022, the site will be marketed to media sources throughout the region to attract a greater pool of applicants and drive more traffic to the site.
