BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT BUSY WITH ACCIDENTS FRIDAY

A string of auto accidents kept the Brenham Fire Department busy Friday, including one with injuries.

Shortly after 8 o’clock Friday evening Brenham firemen were called to an accident at FM 50 and Reagan Beth Lane.  Spreaders and cutters were used to free a front seat passenger pinned in the wreckage, and Washington County EMS transported the victim to the hospital.

Earlier Friday at 7:47 a.m. the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to 1210 South Market Street in Brenham for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.  At 3:49 p.m. they were called to an accident at US 290 West and Spur 125 in Burton for a reported entrapment.  While enroute they were advised that all passengers were free.  And Friday night at 7:08 firemen were dispatched to 3280 FM 109 for another report of an accident with entrapment.  Upon arrival they found no one entrapped and the patient gone.  The Salem Fire Department provided traffic control at the scene.
