HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED TUESDAY NIGHT

  

A Houston man was arrested late Tuesday on Marijuana charges after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday night at 11:15 PM, Corporal Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of FM 389. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed that the driver, Jared Merchant, 21 of Houston, was in possession of Marijuana. Merchant was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz.
