WINKELMANN NAMED TO FUEL METERING BOARD

(Blinn College)
A well-known Brenham businessman has been named to a state board.
Nathan Winkelmann, original owner of Buccaneer Food Store and Nathan’s BBQ, is one of nine people selected to serve on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s (TDLR) Motor Fuel Metering and Quality Advisory Board.
Winkelmann will serve as a public member of the board, which will provide input, advice and recommendations to TDLR about motor fuel quality and metering issues.
The public member of the board cannot have any association with the motor fuels industry. Of the other eight board positions, four are slated for dealers or representatives of dealers with motor fuel metering devices registered with TDLR. Two members of the board represent service companies, while two others represent a supplier and a wholesaler or distributor.
Members of the board serve six-year staggered terms. Winkelmann’s term ends February 1, 2025.
Nathan is an ideal pick for this position!
