Fayette County Crime Stoppers has received a $1,000 donation from two local banks.

Carmine State Bank and Round Top State Bank provided the donation to the non-profit organization, which was started in 1983 at the suggestion of Judge Dan R. Beck.

The organization is currently accepting monetary donations for cash rewards to be paid out to citizens for information leading to the arrest of individuals that commit crimes in Fayette County.
