CLEVELAND MAN ARRESTED TUESDAY ON MUTIPLE CHARGES

  

A simple traffic stop turned into a short pursuit Tuesday for Brenham Police.

On Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM, Officers with the Brenham Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Highway 290 East due to an equipment violation. After a short pursuit, the vehicle came to a complete stop around the 5000 block of Highway 290 East. The suspect, Dilmer Ventura-Hernandez, 24 of Cleveland, was taken into custody and booked in for Fleeing Police Officer and Tampering with a Government Record.
