TEXAS A&M ASKING EMPLOYEES TO WORK FROM HOME THIS WEEK AMID RISING COVID-19 & FLU CASES

Texas A&M University is asking all faculty and staff to work from home this week as cases of COVID-19 and the flu increase across the state.

The university announced on Sunday that the transition to remote work will be from today (Monday) through Friday, except for personnel who are required to perform their duties on campus.

Any students enrolled in minimester classes that begin this week are encouraged to contact their instructors about arrangements.

New protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicate people with COVID-19 should isolate for five days and, if they are asymptomatic or their symptoms are resolving, follow that with five days of wearing a mask when around others.
