349 pairs of socks were delivered to the local nursing and assisted living homes by the Ladies Lions Club in December. Socks for Seniors is an annual event that is jointly sponsored by the Washington County Ladies Lions Club and Brenham National Bank. This year Germania Insurance Accounting Departments also collected socks. The donations of 349 pair of socks were delivered to all six of the local nursing and assisted living homes in Brenham. The Ladies Lion Club also presented blankets and washable adult bibs to each location.
