BRENHAM MCJROTC AWARDED FIRST OVERALL AT BUDA DRILL MEET

  

The Brenham High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC took home first place overall and several high awards from a drill meet this past weekend.

Brenham placed first in five events, second in two and third in one on Saturday at the Jack C. Hays “Round-up” Drill Meet in Buda, winning first overall.  Over 13 MCJROTC programs competed at the meet.

In individual event results, the drill team placed first in armed regulation, armed exhibition, unarmed exhibition, primary color guard and secondary color guard.  It also finished second in unarmed regulation and inspection, as well as third in academics.

This is the third meet in a row that the Brenham MCJROTC earned a first-place overall finish.

  1. I know very little about how this program works but great job!! Third event in a row!!! When a group of young people are working together, no matter the event, and pull off great showing’s, indicates hard work, Initiative and instructors who care.
