BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER SHORT FOOT CHASE

  

A Brenham woman was arrested early this (Friday) morning after she fled on foot from a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that early this (Friday) morning at 12:10 AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Highway 290 West for a traffic infraction. During the stop, officers established probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search, the driver fled on foot but was detained after a short foot pursuit. The suspect, Nikki Andrade, 28 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Evading Arrest, Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
