BRENHAM MAIN STREET BOARD AWARDS INCENTIVE GRANT REQUEST

  

The Brenham Main Street Board accepted an incentive grant reimbursement request for a downtown business at its meeting Monday.

In its lone action item, the board approved a design committee recommendation to reimburse The Pomegranate for repainting the old transom window and the wall at their building at 203 West Alamo Street.

The board agreed to reimburse The Pomegranate for $2,749, half of the project cost.

Incentive grants are funded by Main Street Brenham using money raised from Main Street events.

Monday’s meeting also consisted of board members receiving training on city policies and procedures for advisory boards and commissions, along with staff reports and updates.
