THREE AREA RESIDENTS BEING INDUCTED INTO THE TEXAS RODEO COWBOY HALL OF FAME

Three area residents will be among the inductees into the 2022 Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame.
Kelly Kaminski of Bellville was the Reserve World Barrel Racing Champion in both 2002 and 2003. She then went on to win back-to-back World Champion Barrel Racing Titles in 2004 and 2005.
Kaminski also became a five-time qualifier for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
Justin Maas of Giddings is also being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Maas spent 20 years as a professional calf roper, and was an eight-time qualifier for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
He retired from active competition in 2013.
Sammy Catalena of Bryan is being inducted into the “Empty Saddles” wing of the Hall of Fame. According to their website, the “Empty Saddles” wing is for those who are being inducted, but have already passed away.
Catalena was a former PRCA Stock Contractor. His Sammy Catalena Rodeo Company provided stock over the years to rodeos across the country including Houston, San Antonio, and Forth Worth.
The Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place Saturday, April 9, at the River Ranch Event Center in the Forth Worth Stockyards.
