BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR DWI WEDNESDAY

A Brenham man was arrested for Driving while Intoxicated Wednesday night.
Brenham Police report that Wednesday night at 10:05 PM, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving violation near Lauraine Street and North Blue Bell Road. After an investigation was complete, it was determined that Jose Rene Zapata Ortega, 40 of Brenham, was intoxicated. Zapata was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd offence and transported to the Washington County Jail.
