TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED SUNDAY AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

  

Two people were arrested Sunday night after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Sunday at 11:35 PM, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hillcrest Street and Airline Drive for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed that the driver, Keymone Malik Houston , 24 of Brenham, was found to be in possession of marijuana and a handgun.  He was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Carry of a weapon.  A family friend arrived on the scene to take possession of Houston’s vehicle. He was identified as Patrick Dion Hurd, 39 of Brookshire.  Hurd showed to have two felony warrants for his arrest out of Waller County.  One for Assault of a Family Member with Previous Convictions and one for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.   Both were arrested and booked into Washington County Jail.
