Former Cubette sets new all time conference career hitting record
Former Brenham Cubette Kelly Jurden continues her record setting pace.
On Thursday, Jurden set the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Record by collecting her 212th career hit.
She is currently in her senior season for the Texas Lutheran University Bulldogs in Seguin.
TLU went on to pick up the doubleheader sweep over Case Western Reserve 5-0 and 10-2 at Ed Kruse Stadium.
Jurden also picked up career hits 213 and 214 just for good measure.
Earlier this season, she set the runs scored record.
Jurden is also just one walk away from setting the career walks record.
