SMALL BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEUR WORKSHOPS START IN APRIL

Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library

Brenham/Washington County Economic Development, in partnership with the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library, is excited to announced the expansion of their small business educational workshops.

Originally, the workshops were started for the participants of the YellowTruck retail incubator program.

However, due to their success, it was decided that the new Small Business and Entrepreneur Series will be open to all county businesses.

Owner of Krafty Inc and YellowTruck Market Retail Incubator Program participant Kim Davis said, “The educational classes have provided lots of information about small business and running a business in general. Classes that otherwise would cost hundreds of dollars have been provided so that money invested could be spent elsewhere putting back into the business.”

The first workshop, which will focus on Customer Service, is going to be held on Tuesday, April 12, from 6:30pm-8pm at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.

Other workshops include Writing a Business Plan on May 10 and Financial and Contingency Planning on June 14.

For those interested in presenting future workshops, or sponsoring a workshop, please e-mail Erica Warren at ewarren@cityofbrenham.org.
