A Caldwell woman has been sentenced in the Burleson County District Court after pleading guilty to felony theft charges.

41-year-old Crystal Gayle Faust was indicted and later arrested in September 2020 for two counts of Theft of Property $2,500 to $30,000.

Faust is the former treasurer of both the Burleson County Little League and the Caldwell Little Dribblers.

She is accused of taking money from both organizations after a review of records showed money missing from 2018 and 2019.

Caldwell Police said the missing money was made up of both cash registrations and concession stand proceeds.

Faust was placed on eight years probation, ordered to pay $15,468 in restitution on one charge and $3,165 in restitution on the other charge.

She will also have to pay court costs, a warrant fee, plus undergo urinalysis, a drug and alcohol evaluation, and undergo any treatment deemed necessary.

The case was investigated by Caldwell Police, the Burleson County District Attorney’s Office, and an accountant from the FBI.

  1. With everything these parents put forth for their kids. And the coaches that go the extra mile for these kids, don’t deserve this.

Every coach, and assistant coach I’ve volunteered to help with, Always warm and welcomed. Its people like her that give the coaches and League reps a sour taste of distrust in their mouths, and in time could sour the relationship of trust, In letting outsiders help with the seasons.

My opinion she should have to hold a sign at every game saying what she is and what she did, and her charge. Let the parents see. (JUDGE CICCONETTI STYLE). JUST MY THOUGHTS THO. If u haven’t heard of that man in Lake County Court in Painseville Ohio. I promise his sentences are NOT boring. And… Unconventional, but his crime rate since embarrassment punishments started to happen have significantly dropped. Look him up.
