BRENHAM CUBETTES WIN THE BRENHAM GOLF TOURNAMENT
In their last tournament before District, the Brenham Cubette Golf Team came away with a victory on their home turf at the Brenham Country Club.
The Cubettes beat Class 6A Klein High School by two strokes, 368 to 370, to win the tournament. Eight teams and 51 golfers participated.
Addie Bogan finished third overall with an 88. Addison Schramme was fourth overall with an 89. Bianca Garcia finished 7th with a 92.
Rounding out the team were Madison Rogers in 13th place with a 99, and Emmy Boyd in 23rd place with a 109.
Next up, both the Brenham Cub and Cubette Golf Teams will be taking part in the District Tournament next week Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29-30.
