BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

A Brenham man was arrested early Thursday morning after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Thursday at 12:25 AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Jackson Street on a vehicle for an expired registration. The driver, Dustin Wayne Morgan, 35 of Brenham, was placed in custody for less than 2 Oz of Marijuana, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, along with two warrants out of Washington County JP Precinct 2 for Driving While License Suspended and Operating a Vehicle with a License Plate for another Class of Vehicle. Morgan was booked in Washington County Jail.
