TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOPS FRIDAY

  

Two people were arrested Friday in separate incidences after traffic stops in Brenham.

Brenham Police report that Friday at 8:25 PM, Officers initiated a traffic stop near the 2200 block of Highway 290 East.  An investigation was conducted and the driver, Keiondra Ronique Taylor, 36 of Killeen, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana between 4 Oz and 5 pounds, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Taylor was transported to Washington County Jail for booking.

Then Friday at 9:00 PM, Officers with the Brenham Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was reported as a reckless driver in the 3300 block of Highway 290 East. The driver, Rigoberto Delarosa Jr., 33 of Cedar Creek, was taken into custody for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, and resisting arrest, search or transport.
