BURTON PANTHERS BEAT RTC 15-5 FOR 9TH WIN IN A ROW

The Burton Panther Baseball Team picked up their ninth win in a row with a 15-5 victory over Round Top-Carmine yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

The game was close for a while as Burton was leading only 6-5 after five innings.  However, the Panther offense exploded for five runs in the sixth inning and four runs in the seventh inning to put the game away.

 

 

Colby Beck

Colby Beck had a huge game with three homers, and four RBIs.

Chet Fritsch got the win going 6 2/3 innings allowing three hits, three walks, and four earned runs along with 13 strikeouts. He also helped himself out with the bat by hitting his own home run.

The Panthers will face Round-Top Carmine again (tomorrow) Friday night at 6:30pm.
