NEW SATURDAY HOURS AT BVR COLLECTION STATION BEGINNING MAY 7
HOURS TO CHANGE FROM 8 A.M. - 4 P.M. TO 8 A.M. - 1 P.M.
Starting next month, residents who visit the BVR Collection Station in Brenham will need to account for a change in weekend hours.
On April 7th, the Brenham City Council approved BVR’s request to reduce Saturday’s operating hours at the Collection Station, located at 2009 Old Chappell Hill Road.
The original hours on Saturday were 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the new hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., effective May 7th.
At the council meeting, City of Brenham Public Works Director Dane Rau explained that the number of customers at the Collection Station falls off considerably after 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
The change does not impact the Collection Station’s weekday hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
