NINE BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO MU ALPHA THETA

Nine Brenham High School students were recently inducted into the national mathematics honor society for high school and two-year college students.

Campbell Groves, Aidan Hord, Kaylen Kruse, Lauren Lindemann, Zach Liner, Caroline Murphy, Moli Ragonis, Ethan Schulke and Andrew Zschech were inducted into Mu Alpha Theta.

Mu Alpha Theta was formed in 1957 at the University of Oklahoma.  Its main goals are to inspire keen interest in mathematics, develop strong scholarship in the subject and promote the enjoyment of mathematics for high school and two-year college students.

Currently, more than 100,000 students are Mu Alpha Theta members at more than 2,420 schools in the United States and in 23 foreign countries.
