WASHINGTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU FOOD CONNECTION EVENT
The Washington County Farm Bureau held a Food Connection Event at HEB in Brenham this past Thursday evening.
The event was to bring awareness to the bountiful offers made possible by Texas farmers and ranchers.
Farm Bureau Directors Russell Borgstedte and Linda Jensen Oberhoff were on hand to greet shoppers and share information about the Texas Farm Bureau and agricultural production information in Washington County.
This was all part of an awareness program that Farm Bureaus are doing across the nation.
In addition to sharing information, six lucky shoppers who had “great agricultural products” in their baskets were given $50 HEB gift cards to help pay for their groceries.
