BRENHAM ISD LAUNCHES COMMUNITY SURVEY FOR BOND PLANNING
Brenham ISD is asking for the public’s input as it evaluates facility needs.
Brenham ISD has created a community poll to get feedback and guide the direction of bond planning. The school district has partnered with an independent polling firm to help gauge what voters think about the district and the various building options being considered.
After the survey process is complete, the district’s bond planning committee can make a recommendation to the board of trustees on how best to proceed with a long-range plan and possible bond referendum.
The survey will close on Wednesday, July 20th.

Pro tip #1- Don’t be too greedy and ask for the world. If the last bond had just the JHigh replacement on it, it would have passed. I would’ve even voted for it. There were too, too many people pushing for and trying to shove this monstrosity down our throats.
They need the money, I was class of 2020 and that junior high is in ruins. The building needs condemned, you use to be able see into rooms through the mortar between the bricks. Especially the cafeteria.
That’s what happens when you don’t properly maintain a building. It falls apart. And before you start talking about how old the building is, consider the age of the buildings downtown and the high school in Burton that are much older and in much better shape. The Junior High has needed repairs for a long time and BISD has done nothing with it. They have a maintenance budget. What are they doing with it?
