BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS SEEKING BIDS FOR STREET REPAIRS

Burton city streets will be among the topics of the Burton City Council’s meeting on Tuesday.

Councilmembers will decide whether to approve seeking bids for street repairs and repaving.

Also on Tuesday, the council will consider approving an increase of $450 in the HDU Services monthly operating fee, due to the rise in fuel costs required to perform water and sewer services.

Other possible action includes approving amended 2022-23 budgets to reflect actual income and expenses for the first quarter of the fiscal year, and authorizing City Secretary Angela Harrington to have informational access to all city accounts at Citizens State Bank.

The council will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
