CITY OF BURTON TO POTENTIALLY SEEK BIDS FOR STREET REPAIRS
The Burton City Council will take up talks on city streets at its meeting today (Tuesday).
The council will vote on seeking bids for street repairs and repaving.
In other action, councilmembers will consider approving an increase of $450 in HDU Services’ monthly operating fee. The higher cost is due to the rise in fuel expenses required to perform water and sewer services.
Also on the agenda, the council will discuss approval of amended 2022-23 budgets to reflect actual income and expenses for the first quarter of the fiscal year. It will also possibly authorize City Secretary Angela Harrington to have informational access to all city accounts at Citizens State Bank.
The council will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
