ROYER STEELE TO APPEAR ON NBC’S “TODAY WITH HODA AND JENNA”

  

Local pie queen Tara Royer Steele is going to be making an appearance on tomorrow (Thursday) morning’s edition of Today with Hoda and Jenna on NBC.

Steele will be making a pie during the show’s fourth hour, which is 10am-11am local time.

Steele revealed that she got the call to do the show back in May, and that the hardest part has been keeping it a secret for nearly two months.

She is no stranger to doing television having previously appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan, as well as Great Day Houston with Debra Duncan.

According to her website bio, Steele has been in the family business since the age of 12.

Steele, who lives in Brenham, is the owner of Royer’s Pie Haven at 190 Henkel Street in Round Top, and a former owner of Royer’s Round Top Café, which she sold to her brother and sister-in-law in 2015.

In 2018, she and her husband Rick bought seven acres in Brenham, which they have named, All Things Acres.

They moved their Bake Shop and mail order pie business out there too.

Steele is a mother to her two sons, Brayden and Bentley.  In addition to that, she authored the book, “Eat. Pie. Love. 52 Devotions to Satisfy Your Mind, Body, and Soul.”
