BURTON FFA MEMBERS RECEIVE LONE STAR FFA DEGREES

Five Burton FFA members have earned the highest degree of membership that can be awarded by the Texas FFA Association.

Chet Fritsch, Waylon Hinze, Kaiden Kalkhake, Dawson Rudloff and Hailey Schoenvogel received their Lone Star FFA degrees on Wednesday at the 94th Texas FFA State Convention in Fort Worth.

The Lone Star FFA degree recognizes FFA members who have received a Chapter degree; been active members for at least two years; completed at least two years of instruction in agricultural education at or above the ninth grade level, including a supervised agricultural experience program; demonstrated leadership ability; and shown commitment to the FFA through involvement at the chapter level and above.
