MAIFEST KIDS HELPING KIDS RAISES MONEY FOR TWO NON-PROFITS

Two non-profit organizations are going to benefit from donations made by the Brenham Maifest Kids Helping Kids program.
Brenham Maifest Kids Helping Kids raised money by selling tickets to Chik-Fil-A. All proceeds went to the Brenham NEXT program and the CASA for Kids of South Central of Texas.
Brenham NEXT is a non-profit organization that exists to equip and empower the next generation of Brenham Youth with knowledge and spiritual tools.
The NEXT program was established by Champion Fellowship in 2020. They also took over the BLAST and JAM programs that used to be under Mission Brenham.
Maifest Kids Helping Kids presented the donation to Washington County District Attorney Julie Renken, who sits on the NEXT program’s board of directors.

CASA helps to look out for the needs of children that come from homes where they have been abused or neglected. They also help seek out safe, permanent homes for the children as well.
The South Central Texas Office helps children in Austin, Colorado, Waller, and Washington Counties.
