YOUTH ATTEND COUNTRY CREATIONS WORKSHOP

Around 50 youth took part in the Country Creations Workshop Thursday morning at the Washington County Fair Events Center.  The youth attended to get ideas and pointers on how to make crafts, cookies and cupcakes for the upcoming County Fair.  The idea behind the workshop is to get youth interested in making items for the Country Creations part of the Fair.

New this year to Country Creations is “Glue a Shoe”, “Shoebox Float” and “Special Needs”.  These are open to both Youth and Adults.  This year’s Washington County Fair is scheduled for September 10 – 17.  More information about Country Creations can be found at washingtoncofair.com or email Debbie Wellmann at debbiewellmann@yahoo.com.
