SCHULENBURG FESTIVAL SET FOR AUG. 4-7

  

Schulenburg is getting ready for the return of “The National Party of Texas.”

The 44th Annual Schulenburg Festival will bring four days of live music, parades, pageants, rodeo action, cook-offs, contests, games and other activities to Wolters Park August 4-7.

The music kicks off on Thursday with local band Southbound 955, followed on Friday by The Triumphs and Carson Jeffrey.  Saturday will have performances by Texas Sundown Band, Tracy & Resendis, Texas Unlimited Band (TUB) and Dos Borrachos featuring Kevin Fowler and Roger Creager.  TUB and Texas Dream will conclude the festival on Sunday.

All admission will be purchased at the gate.  Entry is free on Thursday, $20 on Friday, $25 on Saturday after 5 p.m. but free before 5 p.m., and free all day Sunday.  Children 12 and under get in free at all times.
