The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office will benefit from a new grant that they recently received.

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek announced that the department has received a $4,500 grant from the NRA Foundation and the Friends of the NRA.

According to Korenek, the money received from the grant will be used to fund the purchase of service ammunition to be used for firearms training for Sheriff’s Deputies, Reserve Deputies, and Corrections Personnel.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has been receiving grants from the Friends of the NRA for many years.

Korenek thanked them for their continued support.
