FIVE PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Five people plead guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court this week.

Aaron Dewayne Ross, 56 of Brenham, was sentenced to 8 years in prison for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Duty to Register.

Marina Janelle Najera, 26 of Brenham, was sentenced to 8 years deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Robbery and Burglary of Habitation.  She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine, perform 300 hours of community service and have no contact with the victims in the case.

Ashley Lyne Knebel, 33 of Waller, was sentenced to 6 years probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Aubree Sarah Powell, 21 of Brenham, was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation for Burglary of Habitation.  She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine, perform 300 hours of community service, and have no contact with the victims in the case.

Tanaysha Lashae Dixon, 29 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Credit or Debit Card Abuse of the Elderly.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, perform 200 hours of community service and have no contact with the victim in the case.
