BLINN BUCCANEER FOOTBALL ENTERS TOP 15 IN THE LATEST NJCAA POLL

Coming off of two dominating wins, the Blinn Buccaneer Football Team has entered the NJCAA Poll as the #15 ranked team in the country. The poll was just released earlier this (Tuesday) afternoon.

The Bucs (2-0) opened the season with a 55-0 win over Louisiana Christian Community College.  They followed that up this past Saturday with a 76-0 win over Rezolution Prep Academy.

Blinn is one of three teams from the Southwest Junior College Football Conference that are ranked in the poll.  The defending NJCAA National Champion New Mexico Military Institute Broncos are ranked at #1.  Meanwhile, the Kilgore Rangers are ranked at #6.

Next up, the Buccaneers are scheduled to open conference play against Cisco.  The opening kickoff is scheduled for this Saturday at 7pm at Cub Stadium in Brenham.
