KRAUSE AND EILERS HAVE A MILESTONE NIGHT FOR THE RT-C CUBETTES

The Round Top-Carmine Cubette Volleyball Team had two players reach milestone nights in their three sets to one victory of Mumford last (Tuesday) night.

The Cubettes lost the first set 25-23, but then came back and won the next three sets in a row 25-20, 25-22, and 25-19.

A triple-double in volleyball is a rare feat, and in this match RT-C had not only one, but two players accomplish it.

Mallory Krause finished with 12 kills, 17 digs, and 31 assists.  Meanwhile, her teammate, Jill Eilers finished with 11 kills, 13 digs, and 16 assists.

Tess Eilers also had a double-double in the game with 15 kills and 15 digs. Also for the Cubettes, Maggie Salinas had 29 digs in the match, Kim Rohde added 12 digs, and Kaysie Ward chipped in with 10 kills.

Next up, Round Top-Carmine will be on the road this Friday at Schulenburg.  The JV begin things at 4:30pm, followed by the Varsity afterwards.
