FAYETTE CO. JAIL PASSES INSPECTION
The Fayette County Jail has passed its latest inspection.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received acknowledgement from the Texas Commission on Jail Standards certifying that the jail was inspected on August 24th and found to be in compliance with Texas minimum jail standards.
Sheriff Keith Korenek said the certificate of compliance “demonstrates the sheriff’s outstanding leadership, and the diligent work of the Jail Administrator Ed Sawyer, all the correction officers and staff in complying with the jail standards.”
