BURTON ISD YEARBOOK ATTENDS WORKSHOP IN ORLANDO

  

Burton ISD’s yearbook editors were in Orlando, Florida from Friday to Sunday for Walsworth’s Elite Weekend, a workshop to improve their yearbook skills.

Seniors Brinn Rhodes and Kody King were able to receive critiques on what they have done with yearbook so far and had the opportunity to get advice and help from award-winning advisors and specialists from within the Walsworth company.

Burton was the only school from Texas that attended the workshop.

Yearbook Advisor Lauren Hodde thanks the yearbook rep, Davis Gamble, for traveling with them and pushing the yearbook team to go to the next level.

Last year, the yearbook staff won the UIL Bronze Star Award.

While in Florida, the team made sure to enjoy a trip to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
