NAVASOTA POLICE DETAIN THREE AFTER SHOTS FIRED

Original Story @ 7 a.m. Monday: Three men were detained after a shooting Sunday afternoon in Navasota.
The police department responded just after 12:15 p.m. to reports of shots fired in the 700 block of West Virginia Street.
Officers arrived shortly on scene and immediately detained the three unidentified men. A press release from the City of Navasota did not indicate if they will face charges.
Police say there are no reports of injuries and there is no further threat to the public. A portion of the street was blocked while officers were at the scene.
