PANTHER FOOTBALL PREVIEW: VS. YORKTOWN WILDCATS

The Burton Panthers are looking to remain unbeaten this (Friday) evening as they travel to Yorktown for a 7pm game against the Wildcats.
Burton is currently 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in district play after defeating Falls City 13-12 last week.
The Panthers also have a 21-18 win over Holland, a 6-0 overtime win over Hearne, and a 56-41 win over Schulenburg.
The Burton offense is led by Runningback Tyrone Gilmon with 24 carries for 284 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Panthers are currently ranked #2 by Dave Campbell's Football, and #7 by MaxPreps.
The Wildcats are 2-3 on the season, and 0-1 in district. They lost to Brazos Wallis 55-21, but then beat Weimar 36-34 in double overtime, and Woodsboro 61-18. However, they lost to Stockdale 33-7, and to Somerville 35-28 in their last two games.
Burton Coach Jason Hodde discussed what the Panthers have to look forward to this (Friday) evening.
Yorktown is led by dual threat quarterback Dalton Eckhardt, who is 34-59 passing for 464 yards and 7 touchdowns against four interceptions. He has also carried the ball 48 times for 323 yards and three touchdowns.
The Panther defense will also have to look out for Runningback Aiden Nunez, who has 64 carries for 424 yards and six touchdowns.
