BRENHAM CUBS HOSTING LAMAR CONSOLIDATED THIS (FRIDAY) EVENING
The Brenham Cub Football Team heads into tonight's (Friday's) game with the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs looking for their third straight win in district play.
Brenham has won their last two in a row beating Richmond Randle 38-22 and Montgomery 47-14. The Cubs currently have a record of 3-3 overall and 2-0 in district.
Lamar Consolidated is looking to get back on the winning track after suffering back-to-back losses. The Mustangs opened district with a 42-35 overtime win over Bryan Rudder. However, since then, they have suffered a 12-7 loss to Huntsville, and a 67-0 loss to Lake Creek. Lamar Consolidated is 3-4 overall on the season and 1-2 in district.
Coach Danny Youngs gave KWHI a scouting report on the Mustangs.
Kickoff is scheduled for tonight (Friday) at 7:30pm at Cub Stadium in Brenham. It is also going to be "Pink Out Night" in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is also Brenham ISD Staff Appreciation Night.
