WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEET TUESDAY
The Washington County Commissioners Court has a short agenda for their next meeting on Tuesday.
One of the items is to approve the selling of surplus county property through Gov-Deals, the County’s online Auction Service. Most of these involved old county vehicles that were used in various departments.
They will also discuss and possibly act on a Memorandum of Understanding between Washington County and Tyler Technologies for a VetraSpec License Service contract for the Texas Veterans Commission.
Another item involves approving reasonable continuing education expenses incurred by a county or precinct officer if the expenses are related to their official duties, including expenses incurred by the officer between the general election at which they are elected, and the beginning of their term of office.
The Commissioners will also hear monthly reports from Washington County Sheriff’s Office, E911, the Washington County EMS, and the Veterans Service Officer.
The Washington County Commissioners meet Tuesday at 9am in their Chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
