HEARNE DEFEATS BURTON LADY PANTHERS 68-46
The Burton Lady Panther Basketball Team lost to the Hearne Lady Eagles yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon 68-46.
Burton actually led 14-13 at the end of the first quarter.
However, it was all Hearne after that. The Lady Eagles won the second quarter 13-7 to take a 26-21 lead into half time.
Hearne put the game away in the third quarter by outscoring Burton 26-12.
The Lady Eagles also outscored the Lady Panthers 16-13 in the fourth quarter.
Tiara Burns led Burton with 17 points, while Abigail Lamson added 16 points.
The Lady Panthers (6-3) are off for the rest of the week. They will return to action on Tuesday evening when they host Dime Box at 5pm.
