BRENHAM CUBS BEAT LAMAR CONSOLIDATED 77-52

The Brenham Cub Basketball Team stayed unbeaten on the young season with a 77-52 victory over the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs last (Tuesday) night at the Brenham High School Gym.
The Cubs jumped out to a 20-14 lead in the first quarter.
Brenham also won the second quarter 22-12 to increase their lead to 42-26 at halftime.
The Cubs then outscored the Mustangs 17-7 in the third quarter to make it a 59-33 game.

The fourth quarter was the only period won by Lamar Consolidated 19-18, but by then Brenham had sealed the deal.
Shaun Ray led the way with 23 points, while Jamey Rogers had 13 points, Diego Estrada had 11 points, and Issac Powell finished with 10 points.
The Cubs improve to 4-0 on the season.
