BURTON LADY PANTHERS DOMINATE GRANGER 83-18

The Burton Lady Panther Basketball Team continued their great start to the season with a dominating 83-18 win over the Granger Lady Lions last (Tuesday) night at the Burton High School Gym.

Burton led after the first quarter 25-1. Then, they outscored them 18-6 in the second quarter to take a 43-7 lead at halftime.

The Lady Panthers also won the third quarter 16-8, and the fourth quarter 21-3.

Tiara Burns led Burton with 34 points, while Ciara Burns finished with 12 points, Abby Lamson added 11 points, and Destiny Wilson had 10 points.

The Lady Panthers are now 11-4 on the season.

Next up, they are scheduled to visit the Round Top-Carmine Cubettes on Friday at 5:30pm.
